This is a copper plate etching with some foul biting and hand colouring . The print is handprinted on acid free archival paper in a limited edition of 5. The image is  4.5cms high x 7cms wide.
 
The image is based on memory from a trip to Japan I recently went on. It is  of Nanao which is a small town north of Kanazawa which was affected by the eathquake in that rejoin that occured not long after our return. While there I was facinated by the way the postbox stood out within its surroundings so have exaggerated that in my print.
