As naive young men in the late 1960s my surfing friends and I had a dream of buying a bus and using it as a mobile home to travel around Australia Africa. Europe America, and some south sea islands living a life style surfing and being beach bums.
However life (jobs, work, marriage and divorce in one case) got in the way and we never did buy that bus.
The dream has always lingered in the back of my head so now I am starting that journey, not in a bus but through my prints. Welcome to the Beach Bum Boulevard.
